Richard Wax – Chairman
From 1984 to 1995, Richard was involved in the creation of many top quality golf clubs throughout the world as consultant surveyor with Robert Trent Jones II. He was Director of Operations for the London office covering an area from the Caribbean to India. During this period, over 20 successful golf clubs were created in 15 countries including Finland, Germany, Russia and Austria.
Since 1995 Richard has created his own consulting company, Golf Surveys Ltd, which specialises in offering clients invaluable expertise in all aspects of golf research, design, construction, marketing and operations.
Richard was involved in the creation of the Kingsbarns Links, near St Andrews. The course is rated by Golf Digest in the top twenty of the best courses outside the USA. He headed the golf advisory panel at The Grove, Hertfordshire, a top quality golf course with a 227 bedroom 5* hotel. He is a course rater, columnist for Golfers and Co, Geneva and created the Global Golf Guide.
Roger McStravick – Chief Executive Officer
Roger has an MSc in Golf Course Architecture from Heriot Watt University, Edinburgh. In 2006 Roger was the Editor of all the government websites that promoted Scotland, such as Global Friends of Scotland.
In 2007 Roger looked after golf PR for VisitScotland as part of his Consumer PR Executive role. Roger went on to Fairmont St Andrews and as PR and Marketing Manager worked on golf events such as the Scottish Senior Open (EST).
Roger is in charge of driving the content of the festival and being the liaison with all the regional/national authorities, golf associations and private businesses in St Andrews/Scotland wide. He is also the contact point for all European press enquiries.
David Joy – Artistic Director 
David Joy is a fourth generation born and bred St Andrean. He is probably best known as "The man who plays Tom Morris "- a one-man show premiered during the 1990 Open, which has since been televised and adapted as a commercial video and distributed world-wide under the name of Keeper of the Greens.
David has many skills including playwright, actor, historian, artist and author. He is one of the most revered golf historians in the world today and will be helping with the style, content and authenticity of the exhibitions at the Festival. www.golfhistorian.co.uk

Patricia S. Norton
Pat (pictured right) has been actively involved in sports marketing, event management and public relations for more than 30 years. Pat is particularly recognized for her various and encompassing accomplishments in the golf industry.
Highlights of Pat's extensive professional experience include the executive directorships of the JAL (now Sybase) Big Apple Classic, a network televised LPGA tournament, and the Lexus Champions for Charity golf series that introduced the Lexus automobile to the U.S. market. She founded the largest women's grass roots golf campaign, Rally For A Cure, which she developed for Golf For Women magazine and the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation. In 1999, Pat won the Mary Bea Porter Humanitarian Award for the program.
Pat formerly was Director of Communications and Sponsor Relations for the LPGA. She also worked for Octagon, one of the world's premier sports marketing companies, and was the first PR director for the New York Times Magazine Group, whose publications included Golf Digest and Tennis.
Pat is the first woman president in the 54-year history of the Metropolitan (New York) Golf Writers Association. She also serves as the organization's chairperson for their annual national dinner, golf's largest and longest running awards event in the U.S.
Jane Dally - On Course Strategies
Jane is a marketing and communications executive with 25 years experience in sports marketing, public relations, special event coordination, new product launches and key market national publicity programmes.
Jane is a board member of The Women's Sports Foundation, a charter member of the Executive Women's Golf Association, and a member of both the International Network of Golf and the Metropolitan Golf Writers Association. A competitive golfer, Jane resides in Westport, Connecticut.
Graylyn Loomis - Social Media Director 
Graylyn is from Asheville, North Carolina, and is a second year student at the University of St Andrews.
He is an avid golfer and is 2nd Team Captain of the University of St Andrews Men's Golf Club. Interested in a possible career within the golf industry, Graylyn is directing the social media side of the festival.
Nick Bradley
Spanning a twenty year career best selling author Nick Bradley has coached the
best players in the World to some of the most prestigious titles in tour golf. With winners on every major professional tour and eight National amateur champions including the Irish and Canadian boys amateur titles, Nick Bradley is truly the global golf performance consultant. In early 2001 Nick consulted with the Russian Golf Federation which lead to the coaching of Russia's first LET touring professional; Maria Verchenova. More recently Nick took PGA star Justin Rose from 124th in the World rankings to 6th in twenty months winning three times including the 2007 European Tour Order of Merit in just twelve events. His recent work has been with Kevin Chappell who in 2011 finished 2nd in the Texas Open and 3rd at the US Open at Congressional.
Darius Oliver
Author and publisher of the highly acclaimed Planet Golf and Planet Golf USA, Darius Oliver is a greatly respected writer, rater and international golf course design consultant. For the two Planet Golf books he spent more than five years visiting courses across the globe, ultimately studying more than 950 courses in 47 countries, making him the game's best-traveled and most authoritative voice on golf course design and architecture. Note: Planet Golf USA was named the #1 Golf Book for 2009 by GOLF Magazine.
Beyond writing and publishing golf books, Oliver also heads the recently established Global Golf Group, an international body that provides independent design advisory and golf consulting services to clubs and golf developers around the world. Having personally studied the design work of more than 140 active golf designers, he is able to offer unbiased and expert opinions on the standard of candidate designers, as well as providing clients with unique insights into golf course architecture, layout routing and master planning which can help them elevate their golfing standards.
Darius is the current Architecture Editor for Australian Golf Digest magazine, and continues to edit and manage the popular Ausgolf web site, which he founded more than a decade ago. He has featured as a reporter on Network Ten's coverage of the Masters Tournament from Augusta National, and appears regularly on their popular golf program 'The Pro Shop', which screens weekly Australia wide. Darius is also contributing to a new series on golf course architecture for The Golf Channel in China. He is a member of the Australian Golf Writer's Association and the Peninsula Country Golf Club in Victoria.
Anthony Fry FCA – Finance Director
Anthony qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1977. He spent 20 years in the profession including six years as a corporate finance partner with Robson Rhodes before founding his own niche accounting practice in advising growing businesses.
He left the profession in 1996 to pursue commercial interests and is a founding director of St Andrews Golf Solutions Limited, which provides advisory services covering all aspects of the golf industry. He holds a number of non-executive directorships and operates as a financial consultant.
Colin Hegarty - President of Golf Research Group, Dallas
Founder of the Golf Research Group, Colin's Masters Degree thesis examined methods of identifying potential markets for golf development. He has twenty years experience researching the golf industry worldwide.
Universally recognized as the authority within the industry his work has been published internationally. He has advised many of the largest companies in the world.
Author of over fifty major reports examining the golf industry, he has undertaken numerous assignments as an expert witness. His expertise has always prevailed for the client.
Colin regularly appears on radio and television commenting on the golf industry, and speaks at conferences worldwide.
Phillipe Soleillant

Philippe Soleillant is involved in the International Golf Market since 1990, with a 20 years background in Marketing & Communication about Tourism, Sports & Leisure.
Founder of PSO Communication in 1997, Philippe Soleillant was Golf Consultant for American Express Carte France, before creating PSO Production Ltd since 2007, a UK Company shared with Valentine Roy, Founder of “Incentive Golf & Travel Ltd” with a 10 years background in the Golf Tour Operating Industry.
They both manage annual BtoB & BtoC International Golf & Polo Events in Saint-Tropez. Les Drives de Saint-Tropez Tour starting in April 2011 at Biarritz le Phare, as a special European Amateur Tour 2012, and a “Worldwide Amateur Tour” in 2013.
